DISNEY'S OWN PRIVATE ISLAND, OTHERWISE known as paradise.  Only onboard a Disney Cruise Line vacation can you indulge in a day-long visit to Castaway Cay, Disney's private island paradise.  The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder dock right at the island, allowing you to walk directly ashore in into an oasis of serenity and fun for everyone.  This 1,000-acre tropical oasis features miles of white sand beaches, crystal blue water and enough relaxation and recreation for every member of the family.

Then you choose your beach.  there's one for kids and families, for teens and for adults.  Little ones can discover buried treasure at Monstro's Point and enjoy activities that explore that natural beauty of the island.  Teen Beach offers games, sports and unique island adventures.  And if adults don't find their secluded, mile-long "quiet" beach relaxing enough, there are open-air massages in private cabanas overlooking the sea. Castaway Cay's 12-acre lagoon also offers a wide variety of water sports including sailboating, kayaking, paddleboating, parasailing and snorkeling.

Reserve Excursions In Advance!

You don't have to wait until you are onboard the Disney Magic or Disney Wonder to reserve shore excursions.  Now it's possible to reserve on-shore adventures in advance at any Disney Cruise Line port of call, including Castaway Cay.

Requests are taken on a first-come, first-servie basis and some excursions have capacity limits, so contact Disney Cruise Line early to avoid disappointment.

Guests who reserve their excursions in advance will have their excursion tickets delivered right to their staterooms on embarkation day, and there's no need to pay in advance.  Charges for confirmed excursions will be billed to their shipboard account.

Shore excursions can be made within 60 days prior to sailing.  Some excursions have capacity limits so be sure to maek your requests early.

Of course, if you prefer to wait until you are on the ship, that's fine, too.  Just stop by the Shore Excursion Desk (located on Deck 3) on embarkation day to check availability and purchase excursions.  But due to limited availability, some excursions may not be available at that time.  Even more reason to take advantage of the advance reservation service.
